OMG what a dumb bitch.
You would say this phrase about multiple characters not once if you were to read this one :'D I kept having a hysteria, so far this is exactly the worst and dumbest of them all in BG I've read in years. Previously, I might condemn, but not to this point.
This came randomly when I searched for a different novel, I found this site and it wasn't jjwxc as per usual, I don't even know if it's official or not (though has vip system). But it's a disaster to ask anyone to pay for this one in particular, people should be payed for being damaged after reading this insane shite.
The premise before we go on the voyage of unrestrained and underdeveloped teen fantasy:
Ning Xi is our female protagonist. Her mother died in fire, she was sent to countryside, her father remarried a xiao san very quickly and brought his illegitimate daughter. She lived in seclusion, her face was scarred in fire. She was brought out to cheat her shares in the company (it's funny how shares were cheated several times, everything about this novel is questionable, don't ask! XD). She was brought out to marry, no one knew about it, since she was kept blind in a villa. Her husband cheated with her step-sister and never touched her, on a wedding night she was with a man they found for her (again, questionable, in what way two unrelated people met, since she slept with ML of our story). She got pregnant, story starts from scene of her giving birth, her first child was taken away, she was coerced to sign divorce papers. She was ordered to be killed, but she also had two children on the way (yeah, triplets). Author had never had biology class or they had bad marks, since they made two boys into identical twins and the third is a girl.
Timeline jumps 5 years later, Ning Xi is back, she's ready for revenge.
And I must say, how tasteless this revenge is. And what a dumb bitch she is despite her smartness.
I was wondering if the author just trolled all the way, but it's such a trashy novel, through and through. Simply the worst imaginable dumb scenario of a cheap TV show production which is stretched for 52 episodes.
Ning Xi, comes back not just as a mother, but also: a) as a very strong woman (I wish she had used power more, but she didn't); b) a hacker (weird setting but whatever, she might have done many things with hacking, but honestly author made her sound like she simply used VPN, that's her technique); c) god of medicine (she's the unfathomed god of medicine who can do anything, which is impossible, number one, secondly I don't want to piss on this happy parade and allow my intelligence to be questioned, but 5 years, she learnt her knowledge in 5 years along other things that made her popular, I wonder if she has license); d) a lawyer (this was among other things, which is another sphere completely and as far as I know it already feels strange, like she was a normal girl and then bam all gold fingers are on her); e) a designer (clothes and jewellry). Isn't that a list? I think other people who are called OP for using gold fingers should smoke in the corner comparing to this list. But doesn't really make her lesser of an idiot.
The style of storytelling is also annoying to bits. Especially with amount of poisoning of both protags, kidnapping is rampant. I wish they'd just bankrupt other companies like they do in average novels. This is too much XD The other annoying point of storytelling is the loss of short-term memory of the author. There are several similar scenes that looks and sound weird, they have no point whatsoever. I vividly remember how she operated and a guy doctor came and was fanning her, but in several chapters he acted as if he was meeting for the first time.
Storyline, which is epic. Trust me, if you want trash, this is it, this is creme de la creme.
NX comes back, she follows to a banquet where she uncovers the faces of her family in front of the public, she also makes her friend post it (oh yeah, this friend from media company). Collectively this incident never mentioned, though step-sis is from entertainment, her career never mentioned.
With her family she starts going back and forth, which is strange, they all took part in her mysery and were responsible for her child being taken away. But she still would come back, even if described as either unwilling or wanting to see how her father would sing next. Here were several scenes of her walking out on them, prior to this they acted the same green tea theater. I mean... XD ain't she a dumb bitch? Or is it so weird to write how she spits on them. Also she's quite dumb when she acts physically with them. Especially if there are witnesses, they can sue the shit out of you, but these things time and time again are missed, they could visit police more often than they actually did. Why would she come again and again, I think nothing can forgive the child's life. But her disturbed feelings when her father was pissed off by his wife and step-sister and kicked the bucket honestly were weird. Boohoo daddy never gave her love she wanted. Lady, you grew up, move on.
You'll be surprised to know that this novel is actually 455 chapters long, good thing chapters are short, but around 200+ you get tired, since everything gets repetitive :'D
It's weird but she kind of stopped with her "revenge" at that. Her revenge sometimes sounded very opportunistic.
ML is Si Zhaoting (I hope his name was mtl'd correctly). He's blind because of poisoning, but he acts not as blind at all tbh. He's too Hollywood style of blind superhero. Hears better, feels better etc. He searched for god of medicine, one of NX's vests. They also started on bad terms, but only because of misunderstanding, he thought she wanted to get close through his son, but his son is her son actually, it's her first child she was looking for. Her son was taken by a woman who chased SZT and used as a bargain. She drugged him, but he had relationship with NX instead. She took her child, somehow, and pretended to be his biological mother. Although how such a powerful family wouldn't be able to find if she was ever really pregnant.
Triplets. Cute, but most annoying bunch of children ever. Also dumb, despite being described as very smart. Anyway, accident happened when both Mo and Yi met for the first time, they were swapped accidentally. Later they figured out they can only be related somehow, otherwise why they're identical (again, impossible, but whatever). They decided to keep a secret from NX and make her and SZT come together. And the dumbest thing, they managed to do it for the longest of times. Even when Yi uncovered his face NX this dumb bitch still thought it wasn't her son and thought about her eldest son. HELLO, he's in front of you! Like honestly, that's god of medicine for you, she has no idea the son she looked for is in fornt of them. And that's triplets for you, since they kept secret from their mother, while seeing her being sad and miserable when she thought she would never find her child, their first priority was matchmaking. Got it? XD What a bunch of idiots. Cuteness doesn't help. They blew their cover many times, why no one doubted them, why no one noticed for a long time, later I think author stopped caring for excuses, 3 children appeared in same place and NO ONE asked why they look the same. This secret was being kept for a very-very long time I must tell you, same long as NX trying to figure out her relationship with SZT, coming back and forth and dancing around. Funnily, they acted as people would act in imagination of a 12 yo who read a bit spicy literature. But also their actions and misuderstanding are dumb, just for the sake of having more misunderstandings.
Villains, there's a lot and they are all idiots. Although protags are idiots along with them. They're just like a vicious bunch, everyone acts domineering as if the world spins around them and they can do whatever. Step-sister couldn't stop framing NX like in childhood, kept pestering and annoying, especially with the eldest son whereabouts she had no idea about herself. Kept saying hate this and that. In the end she kept getting away (questionable) from all things she did. She's also a wild species herself, a product of her mother's love with someone else. Other is ex-husband, greasy and leacherous man who couldn't stop thinking of coveting NX and talking as if he was hit in the head. Qiao Xinyu, the one who pretended to be a mother, kidnapped NX several times, I don't mention other evil plans, but still got away from justice as a biological mother of SZT's only son. HOnestly, why no one did a paternity test, I wonder. Why no one asked why she targets NX only. She basically walked around all day saying that she's the mother. But I have a question. Why ML once thought that NX was the woman from that night, especially when you felt her fragrance not once and it was mentioned like mantra - same scent as that night. The Xinyu and other villains who danced around were quite annoying by the end of it.
But kidnappings and other things (especially poisonings) keep happening a LOT. All these things are like one after another. And why people keep getting away? Beats me. One time it's because of connections (like Xinyu, who would have been dealt with, mother or not, she was poisoning her own child, should have been stripped of her rights and if I'm not wrong you need to do a paternity test and everyone would know the truth by then lol). Another time you don't understand in what direction judicial system in author's head works. Because it's funny how you see scenes with really fast cases being opened and closed. I mean, that's not how it works. At least basing my knowledge about China on the case of Kris W. or how this beast is called. His case was opened for a long time, I think several months passed before sentencing, which is understandable, it's a long process, only small cases are closed quickly. But here she calls up her lawyer team, later they manage to get evidence like in half a day or what, as far as it seems, and she goes to confront the hospital. It doesn't work this way lol.
YET the dumb bish NX is always praised for her beauty, which she managed to restore, since she's god of medicine yo. Like she's beauty, she's like a queen, many are fans of her etc. Rainbow farts are unstoppable. ML is of course most handsome. Their relationship is all stumbles along the way, with misunderstandings too. They acted completely oblivious as if they're not adults at all, especially dumb self-questioning of - why my heart beats so fast. Swoon by beauty.
I can say, at least 1/3 of it I read quite quickly, laughed very hard at every turn because of how ridiculous it is (I mean last part has a lot about the secret organization, like why would you put it here). How many confrontations, how many of - this is a person we don't dare to offend, how many ploppin on their knees as if it doesn;t cost much. Up to half I started skipping since it became repetitive, later I simply skipped even more, since there is no need to keep reading closely things that don't make sense anymore :'D How they managed not to recognize the child. Out of convenience poor ML was given blindness for a very long time. How she operated I don't know, that's not how it works. What was she operating on even, never mentioned btw. It sounded strange anyway, like instruments and cutting and sewing. He's not a turkey, it's an eye. It also healed for a long time, but he couldn't see clearly after restoration.. I thought that's not how it works. Also dead nerves were mentioned and I was like - you gotta be kidding me XD
Btw her actions reminded me how my mom said that she regretted not getting help, because she had three of us and our dad passed away when I was little, so she could actually get some money as subsidy, but she was a bit proud and didn't want to ask for those. Later she regretted it, because she found her pride worthless. So when I see NX in a situation where she's too prideful to say to a man she can trutst, who saved her, that she's looking for her son. He supposedly has connections, as a mother I think you should exhauset everything if you love your children so much, nothing will stop you from searching. She is also too proud to ask for help, when she received an olive branch of help many times.

How to make this mess more readable? Cut the number of chapters in half or more. The identity of triplets could have come right away, it would have been interesting, since the connection between the two would have been established without dumb excuses. His blindness could be a soft spot. From her on they could investigate the past. She could have only 1 big skill and probably 1 additional small skill, no need for skills that don't even belong to one category. Don't make people/villains act like dummies. Create deeper emotional background for relationships, more details to the life of ppl instead of saying nothing and keeping weird details in or secrets.
OH YEAH. RATE: -100/5 for mentioning Princess Diana and her necklace (it mtl'd as Princess Diana ok?). First of all, how dare you, second of all, royal jewellry wouldn't be auctioned like that, third of all again how dare you, especially treating it later as dispensable. Complete dislike after this part btw.
People should be paid for damaging their brains and wasting their time. Though now my tolerance level for previous bad novels raised. Everything pales in comparison and becomes a cute story :'D
