Because this post is destined to be long, I decided to start typing it before I even finished with the novel. I'm currently only 2 arcs away from finale, but the thing is, it's the second QT I read from this author, I read in succession with the previous one, and both of them are 850 chapters long (even if mostly the chapters are short, it's still quite a lot), so I got a bit tired of it and need some distraction.

Summary: Jin Yan signed a contract with the system to travel the worlds and save them, because her father is the biggest villains and he destroys the worlds after she is gone in those plotlines.
Before anything I'd like to point the obvious that attracted me. Usually there is only a MOTHER figure in the novels, it's basically FMC who may travel the worlds in order to help or save her children (usually they are different children) and I read a number of those, for example there are novels that have specific themes of a mother saving her children because they're some type of secondary or cannon fodder character etc. It doesn't mean doting fathers do not exist in the novels, there are plenty of them, I just haven't seen them in the concept of traveling the worlds with the main character. Usually kids in basic QT genre are not the same from world to world, they rarely appear as significant characters or they're just a by-product that does not have time to even introduce themselves (you know how everything might be about love between MC and their lover and only at the end or somewhere it is mentioned they had kids and that's it), but here Jin Yan travels to the worlds where her father is her father. Same person over and over again, so as she. Unlike her though he doesn't know about any world scripts etc., but he dotes on his daughter and cares about her the most.
Note: But they're not always alone, like Jin Yan may have a full family and even siblings, depending on the world (in spoilers), but the main point is her and her father who have such bond stay the same.
Jin Yan comes from apocalyptic world, her father built a safe world for her, since she has been always sickly since she was a child and had to stay isolated from the world to stay safe. For her, her father is her world and for him she is his world too. But the description of that world is vague and we don't know what happened there, we know we will get back to it eventually, since it's the main goal set at the beginning. Her father was classified as a Big Villain, something might have happened to her and the world faced the ending. She was bound to the system to "save the worlds" (to return and rewrite her own eventually? It's all my guesses, I haven't finished it yet), since in every script the significant point that turned the tide was her death, after she was gone the villain kills the "protagonists" and because of that the world ends, like a program that stopped running. But I have my questions about the fact that it is not some OG, it is her and her father who lived through all those worlds (she says it herself somewhere in the early stages, that she realized that she did not occupy anyone's body, but it was her own reincarnation of sorts), it's all her scripts and she lives a life as if she's a reborn person who did not survive, her father eliminated protagonists and the world restarted. But if she is part of those worlds, is her original world the same as other worlds? Why would she be sent there. Anyway these types of questions I asked myself waiting for an answer in the end.
To describe her dad simply The Villain is always a big figure in every world, proving that he's a real villain, always successful, always super intelligent, always influential. The only thing he cares about is his daughter (it sounded like if they had a full family he didn't care about anyone else, not true, if the family was harmonious he loved everyone, but to her he was biased).
And she has a chance to escape the point when she is harmed in those scripts and the world continues before the task is over and she travels to another world.
This is the part one might lament about, since she does not live till old age in those worlds, she is transferred to another world once the task is over, but what happens to the world? By the description it always felt like it just froze in the moment and that's it (for example several times she looked in the eyes of the ML, saw a string of code, maybe like in Matrix, and then she realized she's about to move to another world, the point of time when she travels is always very random). This is why I think it's a bit tricky, like does the world continue after she leaves? Or it stops because she leaves? Even if she saved the world, but she does not have a chance to spend old age with her lover, which legit felt kinda sad a bit.
Must confess when I started reading I was apprehensive and thought she'd be a naive person or wilful or too pampered like a princess, but I was wrong, she is kind, quite intelligent like her father who has superior IQ, maybe can be willful but in a healthy sense, she is just sickly when it comes to her health.
Note: Another point that is similar in every world, something is always wrong with her health, not always utilized though. For example, she is said to be sickly, but consequently she acts as if she has a normal body.
The system classified her father as the Villain, so she's the daughter of the villain, this is why she is always involved in the plots, but she is not accepting this evaluation, especially after they travel the protagonists sound just too stupid, like bugged people who got the chance for unknown reasons, they do not sound worthy. Even the system 288 that gets little screen time agrees on this point eventually. If you read it you will know that her father often does a lot of useful things like helping or saving people. But the "protag" group is often just some narrow-minded and selfish bunch with such twisted IQ it's hurtful.
The story has ML, he appears in every world as well, but his origins are unknown. They fall in love in the first world and she is capable to figure his identity in every world. They love each other deeply, but the fact that she always travels to another world not long after sounds sad.
In general the novel is quite light-hearted, humorous, has some twists and turns and interesting perspective on some situations and very basic type of stories that one might have seen countless times if they ever read several QT novels. But some arcs will feel lengthy. I think it's not only because in later parts the chapters started to have more word-count but because the content .

Arc I.
Very posh settings for Jin Yan. Her father is Prime Minister Gu next to the Emperor, very influential figure, his wife is a princess, wife's mother is an Eldest Princess related to royalty, whose husband comes from the general linage. JY also has a loving brother in this one. Anyway very powerful family everyone is afraid of and think that if one day Gu family wished, they could change the dynasty.
They did not, but changed the Crown Prince.
Jin Yan was engaged to the Crown Prince, but was humiliated by him in front of others for the sake of some peasant girl. She is a modern girl who came to the ancient time and did a lot of business with the Crown Prince, captivating him.
Some of her actions are eye-opening though, she applies too much of modern stuff to ancient times and shirks responsibility when it comes to bite her back. As an example she asked an old man/vendor on the street for his recipe, which for people is a life-saving treasure that feeds the family, she did so, so she could "make it better". But of course the old man did not appreciate it and thought she was robbing and extorting. She also had always some condescending attitude as if she's better than other, not realizing that troubles come from the mouth.
Anyway, back to beginning, since the Crown Prince was not satisfied, it was not Gu family who chased him. Her father of course was furious, but he was smart in court to always stumble the Crown Prince facion. Jin Yan meanwhile played a prank pretending to get sick from encountering the "female protag", which was used by the Gu family. After all if it's fake or not doesn't matter, what matters is what spreads outside and how it influences the Prince and the girl. Jin Yan played "sick" several times, although she was livelier than anyone else, because otherwise how would you criticize the Crown Prince and use it as an excuse.
ML is the Seventh Prince in this world. They met with Jin Yan not long after she started to cause trouble. It took him a long time to become the son-in-law, after all Prime Minister is so protective of his daughter and doesn't want anyone to steal his treasured daughter.
Crown Prince did a lot of stupid stuff as if he was a love brain for female protag, was eventually demoted because of his own actions and disappointed the Emperor a lot.
While others feared for the Emperor, he and Prime Minister Gu were actually quite good and Emperor knew that this man will do nothing to him and he does things for the land to prosper, unlike many empty talkers in court.
Jin Yan also brought many good things that benefitted the country, like the cement road. Because female protag only cared for profits and did not think about the well-being of the country. Female protag relied heavily on others, but actually did not notice that her actions would attract attention of the court soon, after all she used salt or copper pots (for hotpot) which was controlled. If she did a small business she could easily be prosperous. But she chose to be ostentatious.
At one point Jin Yan asked her if it was not enough just to earn enough and live quietly, the girl thought she meant something, but this is an ancient plane, not for faint-hearted. Her accumulation of wealth and supporting the prince backfired.
Arc II.
A bit of a mouthful to describe settings in this one. Jin Yan is part of influential Xie family with her father, Xie Xi, having business all over the place. He once even passed Impreial Examination, but returned to support the family and expand the business. For health reasons according to priest's advice they should welcome a son-in-law (when a man marries into the family of the woman), it's hard to forget the name Lin Ao (because the man called himself Lin Aotian later lol). This should have been the script of revenge from the reborn person - Lin Ao, original one. Who was supported by Jin Yan's father in his studies and his daily life, but it was not enough for him and again he felt humiliated to be a son-in-law who married into the family. He cheated on Jin Yan, but it felt like a veil covered everyone's eyes and they did not notice it, otherwise to carry favor with the Xie family they would run like cheatahs. In the script he should gain support of many influential women who will allow them to defeat the Xie family and his black history. Although what JinYan knows is that he ends up so badly with all his women gone.
But the body of Lin Ao was occupied by a soul from modern times, some random dude whose life ended badly, because his father was also a live-in son-in-law (gigolo type), but later showed his true colors by betraying his wife and her parents, typical Phoenix man. But he learnt to coax girls from this dad. But the problem is - now everyone knows he cheated and Jin Yan's family cancelled the engagement, so his wish to be a gigolo was interrupted from the beginning. In his inner monologue he always criticized the original Lin Ao, since he saw nothing bad with marrying Jin Yan who was so beautiful and father who could support him was so influential. Daydreaming.
But since he is a modern person he should hold at least something and the only thing he got he remembers a lot of poems, which later made him famous, but people were not stupid - like you write such poems, but don't become a scholar, can't write an article, don't understand what is said, don't pass exams etc. Only those who wish to be fooled will be fooled by his pretentious rhethoric.
Jin Yan played few tricks on Lin Ao, not to mention sending people beating him up after she woke up. She also came around to see his pig face and said - you are so clumsy, you fell down so hard, it's no way someone was disrespectful enough to beat you up, everyone knows you are Xie family's son-in-law. At first he was still the son-in-law for others, but the maids around Jin Yan and people of the Xie family all heard what Lin Ao committed, so they just waited for the right time and also for Xie Xi to return. So when they had enough, the news of the cancelled engagement spread.
Although the Lin family tried to play the emotional card, but when Xie Xi visited the Lin family he not only heard Lin Ao's cousin say few things but later he saw female inner garments held by Lin Ao, so he beat Lin Ao hard. The condition of him being son-in-law was a sole devotion to Jin Yan, no concubines, no affairs, nothing.
At first Lin's family tried to use the public whitewashing as if it was the cousin who seduced Lin Ao and ruined his good marriage, and it worked for a while, but the arrival of a lady from the red district he (og Lin Ao) frequently visited dispelled the good reputation Lin Ao tried to salvage before going to the capital, since it was the only way out, if he stayed his life would be worse than death.
Lin Ao thought he can find peace in the capital, bot forgot that Villain's hands are long, he has connections everywhere.
ML in this world is called Xun Yu, he actually paid the price to let Jin Yan survive and it was his last name that the priest offered with the word 'Lin', while his Xun promised goo fate for Jin Yan, but he was not around when Jin Yan required the most help, he was also recuperating.
Since Jin Yan decided on him, Xie Xi started to cultivate him and also tasked him to deal with his family (his situation was a bit sad, like his mother died and the stepmother and father were unloving and united to make his life bad that type of jazz). Later Xun Yu took all examinations, including Impreial one. He was recruited by the Emperor to deal with many people Emperor once promoted, but who got too cozy with the wealth and power they held.
But because Xun Yu became a champion, he attrackted a lot of eyes (even a Princess), some said a merchant's daughter is not on the same level (heh the type of logic that "choose wisely, with our family you will have support", people who like free lunch and ready-made good minister). Because of those things Jin Yan got back to her old business, finding things like crops, creating things and presenting them to the Emperor, so her status elevated along with her father.
They dealt with a lot of cancer, especially the party Lin Ao stuck to, he even tried to undermine Xun Yu by some gathering of most famous literati, but Xun Yu wiped the floor with those "geniuses" who lived life in seclusion, dealt so hard that they cried and doubted life. Lin Ao was implicated and imprisoned in Sky Prison where everyone found his weirdness - he couldn't die.
Lin Ao is the first person that will have unusual undying phisique. But it won't be any good for him.
The only thing weird here is that.. the soul comes from the modern world, but during this time this modern Lin Ao had visions of Xun Yu dealing with him many times. Yet how can he have those memories (the part of the story where Jin Yan is gone, Villain goes mad and he retaliates against Lin Ao), because he's not original Lin Ao?
This is also the first world where Jin Yan's family is not harmonious, because she is the only child of her father, her mother hated her for this, she wanted to give birth to a son, so she tried to kill Jin Yan many times. Although she acted conceited like she is above everyone else, she was no better than a lunatic under house arrest. She even wanted her nephew to inherit the Xie family business, because she herself had no son, but who is Xie Xi to allow her to dream and harm his daughter. If I'm not wrong they sent her off to her parent's house or smth like that, anyway she was out of the picture later. Xie Xi only kept her around because she was Jin Yan's biological mother, but Jin Yan had no feelings for her, especially she was dangerous. But it doesn't matter to Jin Yan, since she loves her father.
Arc III.
This arc has interesting idea. Jin Yan existed as a soul when she arrived, after an accident her body was occupied by a soul that travelled from ancient times. Jin Yan chose to have ability to be seen by her father instead of knowing the plot, because figuring the plot was easy (I think this is the only time that the system even helped with anything, usually it a useless bystander and a converted fan of Jin Yan and her dad). She saw her own body with alien soul at a banquet playing qin, dressed in ancient clothes and she realized at once that this was a girl from modern times, who traveled to ancient times, but now she is here for some reason. Her conclusion is based on observation, after all the girl did not know proper etiquette and her movements were not up to standard, but her knowledge of qin and folk dance revealed the times she was in.
And she was right, this girl is also called Jin Yan, she travelled to ancient fictional world where she met three outstanding male leads, because she disguised herself as a man they travelled together for a while, but all three fell in love with her and started war against each other to leave only the strongest, but only after few years (when people were displaced and suffered such a disaster she decided to remember about the world's affairs) she decided to go to National Teacher, secret male partner number Four who sent her off to this modern world. In original trajectory Jin Yan has so many merits that she is glowing and she should not have an accident, this is how they knew someone skillful was involved. All three "male protags" waged the fate and death of their kingdoms to travel to modern times to chase "their love~".
Fake Jin Yan respected this National Teacher a lot, but when she communicated with Jin Yan's friends they took a long time to make fun of it (they were getting info about him, since they needed to know how skillful this person is and if it will pose a threat when they decided to exorcise the fake JY), but this woman has some fine logic, the people suffered in her world, this Teacher came to pray for people, but did nothing practical but she thought they should be thankful just for his presence. He is so powerful, knows everything, but does nothing for the world in her own words and never realized where the problem is. Basically this is the problem of all chose protag puppets.
And yes, the main culprit behind her travel is this National Teacher, he also travelled to their world, but did not appear till the end and was offed off the screen. But other three incels were entertaining for entire arc. They acted like Emperors in modern world and spoke like Emperor asking ppl to kneel or chopping heads and exterminating all nine clans, stuff like that, they were discussed online a lot, one can guess how it ended, their deeds known, their attitude is not something others would like to see in modern times, so their business crumbled in shortest time. They self-distructed without much interference from Jin Yan.
Back to Jin Yan, she was a soul, her father knew that someone occupied her body after few words communicating with the fake, the only one who turned a blind eye was her biological mother, she had a dream of becoming a star dancer, but her dream she tried transferring to this daughter, but Jin Yan liked science and wanted to inherit family business. So her mother didn't care where her original daughter went to, she thought this new daughter was easy to control and could accomplish her dream. Was a bit hurtful to see how fake walked around performing as if she was a monkey show.
ML was the same as Tan Sheng, he realized it's another person right away, he actually saved Jin Yan, was in a coma and when he woke up he found the Jin Yan he knows is gone. Before he saw Tan Sheng and Jin Yan's soul.
Fake Jin Yan did not have enough means, because she was afraid to be busted she distanced from all previous contacts, but tried to please her father Tan Sheng knowing how he doted on his daughter, but was puzzled why the man was cold and seemingly caring, but Tan Sheng did not want this girl to ruin his precious daughter's body, this is why he always mentioned those things like not going to some unknown places, sleeping early etc. Fake Jin Yan did not realize it before it became too late. Although she tried to be brave, but unlike Jin Yan she lacked confidence, was always cowardly etc.
Although there is some "tension" because of this National teacher and if there is possibility for Jin Yan to return, but Jin Yan returned to her own body pretty easily thanks to few masters.
Note: She learnt metaphysics in this arc, but honestly it did not matter, she never used this skill or even mentioned it (tbh her own aura was that like a protag, quite lucky, so what is the need for more, Masters said that she is shining because of her merits). This is me who haven't finished to read the novel. It has one arc that has cultivation, but it does not emphasize on it at all.
Arc IV.
Back to loving and supporting family. Plot in the 80's.
Jin Yan bears a script of a "disaster star", serving as a control group to female protag Shen Bei. Because it was beneficial for some people to accuse her to shift blame. Jin Yan's father was wrongly accused by his own sister. But this blame was put on Jin Yan. Because Jun Chao (sister) not only reported him, but also wanted to ruin his family by reporting his wife's family, Su. Then after they grew up with slander all over the place, like her mother did not work honestly, same for her sisters, Jin Yan was born premature so where did they buy the medicine. Jin Yan's maternal grandmother was pushed by someone from Shen family and did not survive, but it was somehow again put on Jin Yan's head, like she's unlucky and her grandma died because of that. The logic of people. When others actually logically asked, if she's unlucky all around her should have been long gone, even in school.
Shen Bei on the other hand took the lucky script, after she was born her dad was promoted (but who knows if he bribed for it), she also acted like in some idol drama with male protag, who was too ruthless and acted like a thug (human life, no biggie, your uncle takes bribes, who doesn't, logic like that). Because of Shen Bei he dealt with Jin Yan and she was drowned. In the script the dad returned to mutilated family. He was actually cleared of charges a long time ago, but was kept in an institute by someone (unexplored).
This time he returns early and throws himself into business and dealing with people. He finds Jin Yan wanting to transfer schools because her reputation was tarnished and no one from school teachers cared. But Shen Bei was always present to say - be magnanimous, the one who said those things didn't mean it, though she also took part in spreading rumors. Jin Yan poured years of grivances onto her dad she saw for the first time. But the change in status changed everyone's opinion in a second, after all her dad returned in glory (basically in a good car and someone following him calling him Professor Chu). They did not badmouth Jin Yan's family anymore, but who cared. The damage was done, don't expect they will start smiling back just because you said few words contrary to previous slander.
But honestly I felt like it would be nice to hear about Shen Bei and her "love". We know her family was found guilty of many things, like bribes and the use of their position etc. So almost entire family was facing jail time or were dismissed. She herself thought she will be with her love, but the guy was not mentioned after he was beaten by ML. And he was responsible of disposing of Jin Yan's body in og plot, so I thought it's such a miss he did not get some comeuppance. This episode when male protag was beaten also showcased the IQ of Shen Bei, she stopped the car in the middle of the road, which turned and almost hit Jin Yan and her friend on the sidewalk, but they were blamed for walking on the sidewalk and blocking the car. The male protag fate was not mentioned, but Shen Bei was described as mad woman who cursed kids from a family who bought their home and said because of the situation to buy the house cheaply, it's all their fault and her house is still hers. Queen of her own logic.
On the contrary to her the entire Chu family became prosperous.
ML is just a random guy in this world who was not from this city/place and noticed Jin Yan when she was in the hospital, they became pen pals, later fell in love.
Arc V.
For this one I even drew a family tree to remind myself of who is who.
This should be a successful story of a travelling girl, she came from modern times, she did not have a healthy body and always spent time in the hospital, but had a twin who was healthy yet sacrificed everything (including heart), but this girl still was not satisfied. She said stuff like she's not envious or blaming and proceeded to do it in a roundabout way. She is so vile btw, that you do not regret her fate.
In original script she occupies the body of unfavored daughter, has a system that allows her to achieve success and reach the peak, she herself knows too little, this is why she was easily defeated in the intelligence too, after she failed to accumulate points. She forgot she's in ancient plane, acted condescending as if others were not worthy of her, since she was of high birth in previous life. But of course it backfired. Oh boy.
We talk about the Wen family, where parents are biased towards eldest son since once a priest said he had a fate of Prime Minister. Second room is where Jin Yan belong to. And third room is full of suckers.

Wen Hai - Mrs Wang (usually farm half-heartedly, always poor and unsatisfied, was always mocked for not having a son)

A lot of things happen in their village. Jin Yan wakes up after a long fever, she was pushed into the river by kids who were instigated by Ziran. She actually thought second room should have given more money and owned them.. lol. She tried to tarnish the reputation of second room just like everyone in the 1st room did, who called Wen Lan unfilial = giving less money.
But second room is rich.
Erya often joined to soil the reputation of JinYan, because she was deeply jealous and though JinYan stole her fate, she is unfavored in her own house and despises everyone, hates her parents for blaming them for being girls. Later her family got nothing after separation, since Wen Lan donated his part of the separation money to the whole village, so they couldn't ask for anything. When Wen Lan became prosperous in the capital and came back to the village, they wanted to use their connections to find good husbands for their daughters, but Wen Lan expressed that he knew what his daughter did and that she spread those vile rumors about JinYan, so Erya cut off her own road to success with her own actions.
Anyway, while Wen Lan was away they had to listen to 1st room nagging or when Ziran got hurt by Jingyan for her vile words and got a fever they started to morally blackmail that 2nd room should help them with the money. It escalated to the point that everyone was pointing at each other.
Only when Wen Lan appeared everyone became like turtles. Wen Lan wanted to separate for a long time and later he got his chance. After he found out what rumors Ziran spread outside.
Because Wen Lan wanted to separate the family at first 1st room were against it, they had all high-sounding reasons but the fact is, no one worked among them and where would the money come from.
Later Ziran met the "prince" from the current royal family, and used system for "love at first sight" effect, discussed some "business" with him and he was gone. Actually did not appear later or rarely was mentioned. Yet it elevated her status and the 1st room were dreaming how they would prosper and now did not mind separating, they were afraid that others will start mooching off them,
But the Ziran who was left behind and dreaming of prosperity felt the consequences of tarnishing Jin Yan's reputation and hinting that twins have something about them. Such a bloody scene of being beaten up. But the thing is - Ziran had same physique as Lin Ao, couldn't die..yet. When she was found to be not dead she was actually killed again, then thrown away into the river, then people saw her and believed she's a ghost. She was put in a cage plastered with talismans and all the people stopped by to perform rituals they believed would help, before real master hired by ML arrived.
ML in this plane is Si Fengxuan, younger brother of an Emperor and loved by him and his mother, he shielded Emperor from poisonous arrow earning deep trust. He could do anything in this world and not look at anyone. He and Wen Lan met each other before, so they kinda saved each other too, this is why initially Wen Lan did not chase Si Fengxuan away.
He met Jin Yan and fell in love, but one thing was certain, he had to please his future father-in-law.
Ziran was exorcised. But the reputation of first room was ruined.
Wen Jinyang passed the exam, the family moved, but Wen Tan failed again, but sent a report letter accusing others of cheating, because this case was investigated his chance to take exam again was ruined forever and he ruined it for his son and grandson. He was actually sent away, while his family was devastated, Wen father and mother had no idea what to do. Wen Zimo tried to hold this family together, he was an only normal person, but his wife was nagging at him all the time. Yang went crazy.
Wen Jinyang and his family went to the capital before exams.
ML helped here and there with the Wen family, although it sounded nice, but some things he was imposing, also was always coming and going in their home as he wished and it became a big joke how he climbed the wall all the time. But of course he was noticed by Wen Lan. Although Wen Lan was respectful, since the other is a prince and a savior, but he had his bottom line.
Because Jin Yan cured his poisoning he travelled to fight the invasion (it was his dream from childhood and what he wanted to do for his Emperor brother), Jin Yan followed him as advisor afterwards. Because of her deeds she got promoted as a princess, entire family benefitted from it. And the two returned in glory.
As for Ziran, she did not die, she travelled to a different body and became a granddaughter of Eldest Princess who was sent away to her fiefdom. But now she returned under pretext of helping her granddaughter finding a good match (she was aiming as far as a prince).
But because she doesn't know etiquette the troubles came one after another just when they arrived. She implicated everyone around her, including Eldest Princess who was colluding with others. Eldest Princess sent Ziran away with white silk.
Actually before that Jin Yan again presented the cement road and she also had many things to offer so she will be granted a title and be on par with Si Fengxuan. Ziran only then realized she could do the same. But she had no idea how these things are done. She only has basic understanding, but doesn't know the formulas etc. So she died thinking of those things and it is her who should be respected and not Jin Yan.
Arc VI.
This time our FMC is a little kid. She is only five.

The secret to why he did this is his intuition that he must do it, it's not like he did not see the original character of this girl. Later she drugged him to have sex and maybe get pregnant. But then again, after she entered entertainment industry she managed to hook up with a big guy Su Ning, a movie emperor. Her past, Li Jing and giving birth out of wedlock became a black spot. It would have been fine but she married Su Ning, gave birth to a daughter Su QingQing and was photographed, to divert attention instead of admitting her status, she fabricated a story that Li Jing is a r**eist and the daughter is the product of that. Although she gave birth because if she didn't she would never be able to become a mother again, used it as a handle to depend on Li Jing for entire pregnancy, but after she gave birth according to agreement that they don't appear in each other's lives Li Jing disappeared with the daughter and she was clean of it.
Because of her accusations Li Jing and his daughter moved several times, since they were chased by fanatical fans of Xue Yan. She built this pure image of herself and used to hype as a victim, but anyone who started to have questions, because not everyone was irrational, was claimed to be brain-damaged by fans etc.
Li Jing was offered to appear on a variety show, which he accepted because he was falsely accused by someone in university, uni did not give him anser right away, he decided that after the suspending period is over he will quit his job and start business. After all Jin Yan grew up enough.
In "og plot" Jin Yan became a white moonlight for people, but she died in a car accident, Li Jing's reputation was unsalvagable, he disappeared but later the entire Su family, Su Ning, Xue Yan and their daughter all were sent to hot searches for all the bad deeds before disappearing from the industry.
Variety show is a good one, it did not chase the idea of making Li Jing's reputation even worse, on the contrary it gave him the platform to fight back (according to him).
But because the kids were small, ML was a kid of a movie emperor Wenren Xiao, who was also on this show, the dads of this show got more attention, it was quite nice to see friendship among men/dads of different occupation. I think the one flamboyant and fun was still Jiang Ying.
Anyway, while people started to have more and more questions about Xue Yan, especially - why she only released it on Weibo and did not go to the police, the radical fans continued to act like rabid dogs and were raised by Xue Yan as if they were following a cult leader. They believed all her nonsense and her pity posts and then decided how to make Li Jing miserable, they did not consider that they will pay the price because of it and this is how it bit Xue Yan back.
Because Xue Yan had a paper claiming she had depression, she was at large even after she was arrested once, but instead of fighting her lawsuit Li Jing concentrated on suing her fans, after all some assaults and defamation were serious things. This all came after Jin Yan got tired of waiting and released many of personal chats and recordings confirming the frame-up of Li Jing that existed between So Ning and Xue Yan. Majority could not believe how cruel this woman could be not only defaming the man but also endangering her own child. All of Xue Yan's ambiguous deeds were released, the fact that Su Ning takes d* and r* people in some house parties sent them not only on hot searches but directly to prison.
Back to the fans, although they did not think they did anything wrong, but they still had parents, some parents were unreasonable (as if their child is innocent and does not deserve their lives to be destroyed by lawsuits, but Jin Yan's life isn't life at all), but some were quite active against Xue Yan. Eventually someone even poored acid on her, since ther daughter took "naked loans" just to buy Xue Yan's magazines and peripherals, later the girl committed suicide and the family has no daughter now and is burdened with death while Xue Yan's audio how she finds fans stupid and it's not her business if they decided to do something illegal, all it has nothing to do with her.
Anyway, the reputation of Li Jing was restored, he quite like he decided, started business and was even invested in by the dad group. It was nice to see how they supported each other.
The only thing I could do without is mysophobia. Why the sudden inclusion of this I have no idea, it's okay if Li Jing is meticulous, but ML who was like a background character who kept tailing after Jin Yan all the time. At least three characters were mysophobes in this one and it's not the end of it, I began to be even more unhappy at it, because in the next arc someone became a mysophobe again, like why include this, it doesn't really matter.
Arc VII.
True and fake sons. FMC is a kid again. Also she made me confused in this one, for a moment I started to doubt who is ML but he was right in front of me.
So again a family diagram is needed and this will explain not only the situation but the plot.
We should start from master He Xun, he is a Chinese medicine doctor, he partnered with Yu (Jun? forgot the name), but both were reported by their desciples and were sent to "reform" you know that jazz of 70's. Later they were rehabilitated but Mr Yu committed suicide before that after all the scorn and he decided to take the blame on himself. After rehanilitation Master He refused to treat people and they turned their backs on him again. He lived in seclusion.
One winter he found a child in a ditch and decided to adopt him under Yu's name, named him Yu Sheng (Villain dad).
When Yu Sheng grew up he also became a doctor like Master He. He married Mu Yu who fell in love with him, she comes from a wealthier family and owns a pharmaceutical company.
They gave birth to Jin Yan.
Before having their own child Yu Sheng saved a boy and adopted him, they became brothers but with different household registrations. His name became Yu Qingtang and he is actually ML, this was unexpected to me. But at least he got more action in here and was quite ruthless to their enemies. But Jin Yan grew under his care from the moment she was a kid to adulthood. This is their consequential conflict around the end of this arc.
On the other hand we have the Bai family where biological parents of Yu Sheng are.
Bai Zhengte is currently in critical condition, so his family Mrs Bai (Ye Mei) and her son Bai Songmo try to inegrate into the company and take the lead, but Bai Songmo is not that talented and Mrs Bai is not helpful.
More than that, for quite some time people know that Bai Songmo is illegitimate son, his mother Shen Hua is a mistress of Mr Bai, she appears around this man a lot and everyone knows their situation, the true is she switched the child and later hired a person to throw the real master away.
But a funny thing is - Mrs Bai is not only fully aware that it's not her son, but she supports him regardless like he's some sort of treasure, he will honor only her and think Yu Sheng who grew up in some remote village can't be put on stage, she is not aware of anything about him or his situation of how smart he is and how capable he is, she thinks his upbringing is not on par with her adoptive son and she clang to him for entire arc.
For this she was ridiculed and got into a lot of trouble and scandal, after all no one could understand her circuit, your adoptive son not only knows who he is, but also tried to kill your biological son is this woman okay?
Several times Yu Sheng indeed met with man-made accidents. One of those afected Jin Yan. Another one was serious and she shared the pain with her dad to let him survive.
The one behind all this is Xi Le, previously the desciple who betrayed and reported master He and Yu. Now he elevated with the stolen skills and tried to portray himself differently, but many remember the past and his reputation among the masses is the worst, because there are numerous rumors how he pressures women to sleep with him, otherwise he will stumble their graduation etc. He sleeps with women left and right, but he is a pervert. He is very vindictive, especially to people who are against him. Psychotic enough to frame people with surname Yu. He murdered his father-in-law after he married into wealthy family, openly cheated on his wife etc. His position was high and he had many connections, so he was protected. Even though he had many lives hanging on him. He tried to kill Yu Sheng himself, then used others to do the same job. Bai Songmo agreed to him for favors to support him in the Bai company. But Xi Le did not promise anything substantial, it was just a promise, he's a weirdo like that, likes people to grovel in front of him.
His wife Ye Tao is sister to Ye Mei, Mrs Bai. She lives a numb life because she can't do anything about her husband, but also Mrs Bai makes her puzzled too, after all with Yu Sheng gone, their Ye family bloodline will be over, but Mrs Bai insists that Yu Sheng will move over.
Everything that happened to this family was reported by Shen Lin, Shen Hua's cousin, he was recruited by her to deal with Yu Sheng, but he got noticed by Yu Qingtang. After intimidation Shen Lin became like a double agent. After all Yu Qingtang to him was far more terrifying than his stupid sister, he also provided a lot of evidence, that played a role in arresting not only Shen Hua but Bai Songmo who were plotting how to deal with Yu Sheng. Because of this Mrs Bai tried to either impose her ideas on Yu Sheng or even kidnap Jin Yan.
Xi Le was eventually reported and arrested and transferred to a higher place to deal with. Along with him a lot of dirt resurfaced.
Although Bai Songmo was released, but he met his own end. Maybe it should be female protagonist of original story, but in the end we meet Lin Xue, she is Bai Songmo's past girlfriend, she became pregnant with the child and gave birth (poor boy tbh), but now that Bai Songmo is down and out of his own company she appeared again with her kid. Maybe in original script they have a cool life, but she is insane tbh, she is obsessed with him to the point of unwell, stuck with him to care for him, acted weird, talked about endless love, but because she acted mental and found that he was about to send her to asylum she stabbed him and herself "for love". Although they survived but he killed her in the hospital since she stabbed that place. Anyway these two both died. I say poor kid, although he was taken in by Mrs Bai, she was resentful towards Lin Xue and those feelings will definitely will be transferred to her son.
Another weird line is Master He's daughter He Xiao, I don't know why this one was included. Anyway, she is stubborn and doesn't have a good brain to judge people, Master He sacrificed everything to send them to safety abroad, but instead of perpetrator she resented her own father and resented him for everything, that mother died etc. While who knows what would happen to her if she stayed. Anyway she came only to spoil everything, hurt her aging father and to fuck off abroad again. How she managed to marry a good man like Xue Zheng is beyond me. Their son Xie Jing came instead of his mother to honor Master He, he was more rational than her, quite commendable. He was a kid, another mysophobe and another tail behind Jin Yan. Another background board who always looked at Jin Yan as if he had nothing else to do, imagine a kid who always stares at another kid, weird.
In the end although relationship eased, but He Xiao was still stubborn tll the end, while Mater He eventually let go of some of his obsessions.
So this is what we got, main perpetrators like Xi Le and Shen Hua arrested, Bai Songmo and his gf off the screen, Mr Bai unknown, Mrs Bai unknown and got Songmo's child, Ye Tao unknown, everyone on Jin Yan's side all good.
The final relationship "conflict" is based on the fact that Qingtang's feelings for Jin Yan changed, but he couldn't accept them because she grew up under his care, he even disappeared for few years. When he came back Jin Yan saw through his struggles and hinted that she has same feelings for him.
Arc VIII.
By this arc I started to get tired a bit. First of all, FMC became a background board more in two arcs and they're not short, because Villain dad is always cool, the entertainment value falls on others and it's not always fun. I expected more, I felt like I need more. While she is the main girl in this arc we do not see Villain dad till the very end. She has such cool power, but it's not utilized enough tbh. I also felt like it took so long and by this time I realized that authors starts to get repetitve with content.
Like in this one for example there are at least several scenes where background characters discuss Jin Yan and her dad Huo Biao, as if it is them who cause the apocalypse, so they could rule the new world. Many crazy theories about that, putting the blame on the Huo family parents and daughter. Even if she saved people they were not grateful and acted as if she supposed to protect them because they're more powerful. This was said again and again and again and my issue is, this type of "social rhethoric" did not appear in this arc only, it was present n other too, like some unreasonable idea they can't get rid off. And the thing is it's not even the last arc where this stuff appears. My idea finally came to - someone who is controlling these worlds just tries to pressure Jin Yan and everyone around her to think like that. But it's just my guess, unconfirmed.
Anyway. The icitial idea is what I liked. That this is a future world with very sharp hierarchy. There are many natural disasters that happen more and more frequently, people start talking about the end of the world and many even prepare a lot of provision to last. Huo Biao is some insanely wealthy guy and her mother Liu Su also works in a lab. Their daughter was sickly since birth (very much like her original world) and they actually sent her with friends, hoping she will get experience... anyway. She comes to another city with her bestie Zhou Xia, another girl Li Dong, a childhood friend Lou Di, they meet Zhou Xia's cousin Mu Lan (kid you not). And also are joined by a movie emperor Zai Xu.
Later their party get additional Ye Liting (ML) and his two bodyguards.
Because Li Dong plotted against Jin Yan during this trip, she was asked to leave. But this girl is too adaptable, she might be the plot's original female protag, among other harem member, because this plot seemed ike the stallion novel.
Jin Yan had no idea because system disappeared and she could not get the plot. Only later she realized what the plot is supposed to be.
This world is like a reloaded game. World 1.0 apocalypse happens but with Huo Biao's help the humanity survives. World 2.0, male protag Yun Hanye is reborn, retaliates against people, hoards stuff and with his supernatural powers becomes a king of his own, hierarchy is divided again and he lives among flower / women. But Jin Yan who got supernatural powers too kills him in this world. Maybe breaking the chain of the plot and the person behind it. Now it's World 3.0, Yun Hanye is reborn but without memories of his defeat. Many others are reborn too. They don't know what happens after Jin Yan died, because the world stopped at that. And she realizes she's the only one who can kill male protag, he is undying like all previous ones.
End of the world begins, cataclisms. But honestly when zombies appeared I was kinda disappointed. Like why this again, i thought this will be different.
Anyway Jin Yan and her company set off, some people just follow along, those who think she should protect and provide. Li Dong is partially among them, she appears and disappears, this is how they judge she is luck, but she usually just pushes other people while she escapes. She also hooked up with Yun Hanye for protection. They all travel north to the only city that can survive. Jin Yan has her powers awakened and she's a psychic like in previous life. Other eventually got their powers too. But the progress described by other feels like someone speeded up the progress of apocalypse.
The meet a lot of zombie hoards and monsters, a lot people die and some survive. She does not care if some are dissatisfied. She only warns not to tarnish her dad's name.
Several female-companion-type of girls appear.
But then they cross paths with Yun Hanye, he doesn't appear in the arc much, although he should be male prtag, but he is just that, acts as if all women should fall to his feet. Anyway they meet him and others from his team know that he cannot die.
While others around Jin Yan killed him several times he returned. But Jin Yan suggested, why not kill and blow up, so they did that, she said that unlikely his peaces will stick together. By this time she should have been on edge since she couldn't contact with her dad.
Anyway some paranormal stuff happens, her parents appear, than another her appeared which no one could defeat and so she took it upon herself again and thus the world ended.
Arc IX.
Again system disappeared, her dad is nowhere to be found and she has no idea about the plot.
So, in this one Jin Yan's fate was stolen. We're in a cultivation type of story, because this world has demons, monsters and ghosts and gods above, but cultivation is not the main point of the plot.
The one who tempered with her fate is a God of War Yutian, he fell in love with divine GRASS (lol) whom later gained consciousness and turned into a girl. This was supposed to be a life-saving medicine for a woman who was in love with him and protected him, but he lied about grass and later was reluctant to make her heal the goddes Fuyao. Fuyao was burnt by karmic fire and later recuperated for a long time, when she was waiting for Yutian she met Jin Yan. Kind of with the help of Jin Yan she realized how futile it was to wait (for healing the grass girl should have just prickled her finger and fed some blood, but Yutian could not allow her even this). Yutian protected the grass girl, but all others became increasingly disappointed with him, especially Fuyao, since this grass girl is not as innocent as she tried to seem, she lived in her own world and was pretty cruel, while Yutan called her innocent and straightforward. But because they brought so much trouble and Yutian broke the promise the bad ending was waiting for his grass lady. He went even further and tempered with the fate of Jin Yan, which consequently led to the chaos in the world, because her arrival should be an auspicious sign.
But the Emperor (not her dad), he favored a concubine who listened to Queens dream and told Emperor that she saw purple clouds in her dreams (Queen's dream) and she and the Queen gave birth on the same day, but Queen's daughter was labeled as evil spirit, Emperor wanted to kill her, but load of people pleaded for her safety. She was escorted to a magical mountain many miles away where she lived with her shadow guard Chenying (ML). But she had a condition (not explored really) where she left her body as a soul and could not control it, this is how she traveled to the god realm or demon realm and met many people, inluding Fuyao and Song Huai (Demon Emperor). Meanwhile Jin Se or Princess Zixia was favored to heaven in the palace with her stolen identity, Queen and the Crown Prince were always walking on eggshells. Zixia was uncomfortably cruel, if something happened she never blamed herself but everyone around her. Like the first scene she mutilates a servant with a fallen tile, but later blames the servant for scaring her with their ugly face. She never understood the problems of the common people and cared only about herself and knew that she was from god realm.
But eventually things did not go as planned. Emperor might favor her, but only when his power is the main one, while Zixia violated many rules and did not treat Emperor as anyone special, she always felt like everything will be according to her will, which crossed the line of Emperor many time and he actually sent her out.
She was easily found by Yutian the next moment and they "travelled" around. But whenever Zixia went she would be displeased with this and that and say many cruel things, like to beggars and veterans etc.
Meanwhile Jin Yan started the whole episode with her appearance as a soul. She created a whole show with her cultivation and knowledge of chemistry at the mansion of Imperial Concubines family. This sent the signal for Emperor to deal with them (more like officials wanted to do it too). Which consequently led to Imperial Concubine doing wrong moves and being punished, but her daughter did not emphasize with her but went against rules and punishments set by Emperor, so eventually she was kicked out (after all Zixia made so much noise because she wanted to travel outside).
Jin Yan did not care about these two, although their fates were tied as we later find. She spent a lot of her time buulding the city around the mountain she occupied. She helped many people and especially a local minister.
Later when Emperor knew that Zixia was not the auspicious sign he deposed her to a commoner, but also thought of his daughter who was many miles away. He reinstated her and sent rewards, but there is a catch, he also ordered her to kill the gids (Yutian and Zixia). And this is a huge karmic debt which he wanted to push onto others.
But funnily Jin Yan was especially lucky and favored in this world, even if she describes that she got into many problems, she always said it's as if it is her who goes through tribulation.
Yutian has enemies all over, including Song Huai and Fuyao. They beat him a lot, which allowed mortals to capture him and Zixia. But he is an immortal, so how to kill him?
First of all he is indeed guilty, because he can't meddle with the human world, but he went against heaven's will. Like Zixia always asked if she did something wrong, when she did, but he let it slide. Like what he found in this vicious girl I have no idea, but it happens. So maybe others couldn't kill him because he was a god, but who is Jin Yan.
She built some lightning-capturing machine and fried the two guys into ashes.
Seemingly the task should be over.
But she couldn't leave because she never found her father in this plane. Basically they travelled a lot around in searches of at least his aura before Song Huai explain he might be in the ghost world / Underworld. When she arrived she met the Master who appeared from time to time, who actually knew her fate was changed, knew other things but could not reveal them, this time he shared something with Jin Yan and she had a vision of her own world like a fortress and "her" voice sounding from a robot (this is why I got the idea about the AI that was programed after her, but got some sort of consciousness and got jealous of her and wanted to replace her). All three got trapped in different illusions. When it was over Jin Yan said she knew what to do as if she got enlightened and did not obsses.
The good part is that Song Huai is a funny character, once Jin Yan mixed him with her dad, but got it wrong but he later accepted it. At first he thought it was Emperor but later realized it's someone else. But honestly what was the point of this arc, at times when Zixia had communication moments with people it was hard to watch. Jin Yan and Chenying are just there. And before you know it, so much chapters has gone by, but that was it.
Arc X.
For a change, the system was present for two lines but it was online. Her dad is back. Who is ML I have no idea, because probably since the moment she became kid (she's again a kid in this one), the novel's angle shifted. Previous there was a lot of ML and her and there was chemistry, but now even if ML is present what's the point. Like in this one there is no emphasis who it is, you may know who, but does it matter? There is such a huge gap between previous presence and communication of the two, but at some point their relationship that was so great to the point where ML always needed to earn his place just disappeared.
Anyway, this is an ancient plane and the last arc before finale.
Jin Yan belong to a Xiao family, family of generals who fought for the new Emperor. Now the Emperor got older, but became increasingly suspicious and did not look at people who were responsible for his success and convicted many founding generals. But Xiao family does not only defend North but also invasion. So he couldn't move the family, but took the old General Xiao Sui as a histage (it's a house arrest in the capital, but does it matter).
Xiao Ji is the Villain Dad. He is married to a royal princess Jinyang, while the two have four kids, Buyi, Quxi, Jinan and JinYan (twins).
Jin Yan again is very sickly in this world and a kid. I don't think the age is ever mentioned though, it's just that descriptions hint they're small, but then Jinan goes to army with his dad. Anyway they're younger than 13 for sure because it's the only age I remember mentioned by second brother.
JinYan is a beloved daughter and when she got older she started to invent a lot in the hope to help people and also considering plans of the following rebellion.
The court was always vary of the North, always sending convoys or spies, but it didn't matter.
The things went on, but except North where people got better, everything else was a place of devastation, disasters, people always used for labor, not enough food, starvation and death, freezing in winter. Even in the most prosperous capital was filled with many beggars and refugees, but when they wanted to head North they were all killed, but the news of Emperor's cruelty still spread.
Honestly it felt like there should be no people how many were killed along with their clans.
The Emperor was suspicious, but believed too much in words of trechearous officials, after a while he started to seek immortlity with alchemists. But if something he was suspicious of, he executed people left and right.
The court did not do anything at first, even if they did it was only to seek advantages.
Emperor thought he could control Xiao Ji this is why he sent convoy to take JinYan and second brother to the capital, where they spent several months basically avoiding the lamlight, but then Emperor couldn't sit still and her, her brother and grandfather escaped the capital.
They slowly headed north, others stayed to control the situation at court and find a good moment to assassinate the Emperor maybe.
I want to shortne this moment into simple. After Emperor fell another person appeared, 12th prince who no one heard of, who was even more manic than his father, he killed left and right, also asked all people to build him palaces, send him their daughters etc.
While Xiao Ji after the defeat of Huns marched towards the capital, inside the capital was filled with death and blood. Also the 12th prince killed the Emperor when that woke up and pushed the blame to Xiao Ji, like any previous case was pushed as if it's all North.
But honestly this Emperor, he was always suspicious, he basically forced people to rebell. And it was his own daughter who is married to Xiao Ji, and Jin Yan is his real granddaughter, but he treated them like that.
The new Emperor was suddely killed by a close servant who later became a minister.
Xiao Ji marched into the capital and the big changes began. He became the new Emperor, assigned his eldest as Crown Prince and they started to implement new policies and investigate nobles who were left behind.
But even at such moment after some time Xiao Ji again led the army to erradicate the Huns, since the North was kinda in the open without him. So entire family worked for the best of this world from different places.
The leftover nobles thought they could do the same like with previous Emperor but they were caught off guard by many charges they were facing,and these are not false compared to what they screamed in the past agains the Northern court.
After several expeditions and many years later that were squished together, Jin Yan built the world she was dreaming of, prosperous and safe. And the arc again ended abruptly when Jin Yan and ML promised the future together.
Although it's a sad arc in general, but between the lines there is an idea that one must stand strong, maybe many innocent lives will be lost, but to prevent from more tragedies to come it's a necessary measure to take.
And also as a note it's nice to face such a united family in the last arc.
Finale.
Well, I guessed it right, although we're talking about a humanoid type of robot, very much alike original JinYan (not surprised by that).
But I want to say, the ending is basically flushed, so she returns, she is conscious but to everyone else it feels like she's sleeping, sees this replica whom JinYan created herself, replica that was meant to be a hope, but instead the first thing it learned was to be jealous of its' creator and wanting to replace her.
Should be a high IQ robot, but I think doesn't realize how futile its' ambitions are.
288 is actually her another creation (although it has small role in any of those worlds).
So... she was sent to save her life? Not exactly, the scripts are just ideas to stimulate her brain in order for her to wake up and to do that of course the best thing is to put her father in danger in those scripts, since she loves him the most in the world. But how should it work, please don't ask any profound question since it won't be answered.
Also I still can't forget her impression how she realized it's her own life in those plots and not someone else, but now we realize it's a simulation, so those two don't tie together in logic.
In general the robot planned to revolt around the time when JinYan was a vegetable and her father was away in search of medicine. Honestly, who cares, because it passes by like insignificant information. But then JinYan "woke up" at a critical time to save the day. And of course her dad also returns just in time. Although the dad Gu Changying heroically returns, everything was basically over.
Also ML is someone from the base, her father's disciple, also named Xie Yan like in one of those plots.
So the idea is that Jinyan is always called the hope of humanity and I'm not sure her dad ever mentioned that she's a hope of humanity and specified the reason. Because the attention she gets is unprecedented. But it is explained that everyone in the base is more or less did not escape the influence of mutation, but Jinyan was kept in the pure land, without influence of radiation and other stuff, a pure human, this is why she is sickly, but for their future it is important.
The idea is something like that.

It started intriguing, very novel with idea of father and daughter travelling worlds.
But along the way it started losing me as a reader. I enjoyed the chemistry of FL and ML, but it kind of moved backwards with time and because I enjoyed it a lot and now it was not as present, it felt like something was missing. The entertainment value dropped, several last arcs have more serious tone I suppose, maybe because the tone changed? It felt like it did. And the ending was basically rushed. The story required her to return to her own world, it was the main goal set from the start, so it was inevitable, but it was so rushed that I can't bring myself to care enough.
Eventually was not as impressed as with previous one, although this is more recent. Can't deny that I enjoyed it along the ride, but around arc 7 is where I started to feel a bit down.
