[ANIME] Jujutsu Kaisen - 呪術廻戦 (Season 2) (2023)

There were so many action scenes that I got tired of them.

And I'm not kidding.
I know that anime actually reshuffled the manga events quite a bit, I have no idea which and while I watch the anime I don't plan to pick up manga to read and quench the curiosity. I could see why they did it though, even if it feels a bit silly.
First few episodes show the past and young Gojo and Geto, there is also the girl (but honestly anime doesn't even bother to explore their relationships as friends), then comes Toji, Megumi's dad, who conjures a plot to wear Gojo so much that he will lose focus and that will allow Toji to attack, which happened. Gojo, as monstrous and powerful as he is overcame even this obstacle. But here comes the rift, he is powerful and Geto has some inner drama on why he must save people who re not worth it. And he snaps, obviously.
So in Shibuya incident the same tactic was used, to wear Gojo so much that it will be easier to apprehend him. What is funny is that they find it easier to seal him than off him.
Most of the season is just that. I bet manga is way-way-way more expanded than this. Because I felt like some characters appeared only for a little while and only in action scenes.
And too much of action scenes, although you know the lore and it is simple, but there is too little time to explore the characters we should care about. And few little flashback won't cut it for me. I watched the 1st season quite a while ago by now and I can't say I ever get attached to characters at all, but the time made me quite distant to it overall. I can still find one or two interesting ones. Like Gojo Satoru is fun to follow. Itadori has more inner drama that can be explored. Just few mains from the first season. But it felt like some got so little time. And Jujutsu Kaisen doesn't shy away from offing its characters too.

I know for sure that because of the poster and a lot of spoilers or just gifs that showed younger Gojo and Geto I had wrong expectations. I thought there will be more. Who knew. But that's on me.
In general it was okay, not great since most of the time is spent on fighting sequences, but it leaves you with something at least. Although that something was not enough for me.
